Professional Text Tutorial. Credits To Hektic
First start off by going to windows / character selection in photoshop. Open that window then go to: edit / preferences / type and make sure there is a check in Show Asian Text Options.
Then go to the window and you will see the following icons appear:
- This squeezes the text together, the lower the # the skinnier the letters will be.
- This brings the letters closer together. The low the # the closer the text will look.

…or use the following Swiss Fonts, such as HELVETICA, which I use in all my Tutorials, and Myriad Pro, WildStyle, SF Digital Galaxy Symbols, Illuminati, Club, Wintermute, Dolphin, Jane Austen, and GoldenEye 007. Some of the main ones that I use. But, Helvetica is my main Font usaged text type.
